Thanks for your kind words on my post. I was so encouraged to know that such an accomplished painter had a lul in thier process. By your example I see that if it slowed you down, it did not derail you! I dont think the malaise has so much to do with my age as my experience with my parents. I do know I have ALOT going on, as does everyone in those sandwich years. And your right, it seems less energy to handle them! After my mom died, Art at the Arnold snapped me back! So art is my therapy! And I still need to take your workshop-
