Ireland: Co. Mayo, family history, part 2

Here is the house where Martin's father was born. My Martin remembers spending summers here, watching his Granny comb out her hair at night in front of the fire, and climbing each morning to the top of a steep hill with his grandfather to sit and reflect, and to gaze at the view of Crough Patrick. The house itself is the first stone building, with the second building housing cows, chickens and pigs.

The new house in the back was the one I visited his Uncle Dick in when we were here in 1989.
