Ireland: Iron Age Fort, Dingle Peninsula

Martin couldn't wait to get back to this fort, at least half of which has eroded into the Dingle Bay. What would Ireland be without stone? We have seen so much stone, whether it be embedded in the 'soil', made into walls, churches, houses or forts and tombs. It also makes for living history, especially when Granddad brings it to life. Stone. Give me all you got.

And it makes for some fun for kids and adults as well.
