Camino: Day 29, Astorga, July 12

It's several days since I wrote. Lots of stuff has happened, but there's been no wifi.

Here are some photos of Astagora. It is a lovely town. St. FRANCIS OF ASSISI reportedly stayed here when he walked the Camino.

The town has Roman origins, of course! But there is a part of an original mosaic floor still in place!

There is also a cool clock on the townhall with two statue, a man and a woman dressed traditionally, and they ring the hour and half hour with their sledge hammers. Fun to watch while we ate the best meal we've had so far in Spain.

Those grilled veggies in Spain are wonderful! Enjoy them whenever you can!
